Quick Instructions

Installation:
Connect the headset's RJ9 connector directly to the phone's headset jack at the back of the phone (below the handset jack)

To dial a call:
1. Press the headset button on the phone's keypad, you will hear dial tone from the headset's speaker(s) (do not pick up the handset from the hood).
2. Dial the telephone number

To answer a incoming call:
While the phone ring, press the headset button on the phone's keypad, it will pick up the call and have the phone audio on the headset.

To adjust the headset volume:
After pressed the headset button, use the volume key on the phone's keypad to increase and decrease the headset volume.

To switch between headset, handset and the phone's built-in Speaker phone function:
While have phone conversation on the headset, pick up the handset from the hood, the phone audio will be routed to the handset. While have phone conversation on the handset, press the headset button , you should be able to hear the phone conversation from the headset speaker. Then put the handset back to the hood.
While have phone conversation on the headset, press the Speaker button on the phone's keypad, the phone audio will be routed to the speaker phone. While have phone conversation on the phone's speaker phone, press the headset button , the phone audio will be routed to the headset.

To mute the headset's microphone:
While have phone conversation on the headset, press the mute button on the phone's keypad, the headset microphone will be muted. Press the Mute button again to disable the mute function.

Use with training adapter:
Through an OvisLink training adatper, you may connect two of these headsets to one SNOM phone. There are 3 RJ9 ports on the OvisLink training adapter, "TEL", "A" and "B".


Connect the "TEL" port to the SNOM phone's headset jack use the short RJ9-RJ9 cord comes with the training adapter.


Connect two OvisLink headsets to the port "A" and "B".


Put the little switch marked with "1/2" on the training adapter to "2" position.



Press the headset button on the SNOM phone's keypad, you should be able to hear dial tone from both headsets' speakers.

There are two "Mute" buttons "A" and "B" on the training adapter. Press button "A" to mute microphone of the headset connected to the port "A"; press button "B" to mute the microphone of hte headset connected to the port "B". Press the same button again to disable the mute function.
