The OV220RC16 is OvisLink's new media converter rackmount chassis. This rackmountable unit supports up to 16 media converters. This allows network managers to have the flexibility to use OvisLink OV220 modules in the same rackmountable chassis.

The chassis is powered by OV220RCP hot swappable power supply (optional extra 2nd OV220RCP redundancy power supply available) to eliminate down time on the network. The unit saves space in the wiring closet and minimizes the number of power connections required.

Wheter using one or two power supplies, power is equally distributed between all media converters. This is accomplished by incorporating a backplane with 16 different power entry modules integrated with the printed circuit board.

The chassis is designed with a simple mounting system. Each individual media converter module is plugged into the back plane and secured with the included mounting rail.
