Dialup(FWD) setup using VoIP-211RS/220RS/210RS
Freeworld
Dialup(FWD) is a free SIP VoIP server provider. If you have an
OvisLink SIP VoIP router, you can setup the connection easily using the
following step:
(Note:
OvisLink is not affiliated with FWD. The VoIP router also work with
majority of other SIP proxy service. The following instruction is for
your own information only)

Click
on this link to register with FWD service.

After completing the
registration. The FWD will assign you with a FWD number (this is
your phone number), username, and password.

Now please go to the
router's web management. And configure the Internet connection as
you would normally with a IP sharing router.

After you can connect with
Internet, go to the router's Web Management again and click on SIP
of the left menu bar

Enter "fwd.pulver.com"
in the Server Address Section

Enter "5060" in
the port section
-
Check the "Send
Registration Request", and Enter "100" for the expire
time.

The Dial-Plan is used to
limit the telephony number that the user can dial. For example,
"2XX" means the router will only accept number start with
"2" to "299". In this case, please enter
"x.T" to allow all numbers.

Check the 2 options to allow
# and * sign to be used as part of a dial number

On SIP router, each line use
a different account. Therefore, if you have a 2-port VoIP router
and you want to use both of them. You must register 2 different
account. For the FWD setup

Phone
Number: Please enter your FWD number

CallerID Name:
please leave this blank

Port Number: Please
enter 5060
-
User Name: please
enter your FWD number (do not enter your FWD user name)

Password: please
enter your FWD password

Dial-in Plar
Number: this field is used to define the auto-dial number upon
off-hook. In this case, FWD doesn't require this, so please
leave it blank.

Now, please press Save SIP
Settings

The router must reboot to
make the new settings to take effect. So, please select
"Reset", then the first option to reboot the router.

After rebooting, you should
be able to hear the dial tone after picking up the phone. Please
dial "613" to do the echo test. You should be able to
hear your own voice playing back after speaking.

You can dial any other FWD
number. For available FWD service, please check the FWD member
email for more details.
