It can automatically fulfill the local network configuration through its built-in DHCP host function. It is truly a Plug and Play for cable users and only needs a few information (user ID, passward and DNS address) supplied by ISP for xDSL users.

Network Expansion & Traffic Isolation 
For a larger network, adding a SR200 can expand the nodes on the network without allocating extra IP addresses. Another benefit is to reduce network traffic. Using the SR200 to group network PCs, then only the outgoing IP traffic will pass through the device. Traffic, even the broadcast frames, within a group, will not flow out to affect the bandwidth of the PCs outside the group.
