Ether-FSH2500F is an auto-sensing and auto-negotiating Fast Ethernet switch with VLAN and Priority capabilities. It has 25 100Base-TX ports and two 100Base-FX module slots. The port 24 and port 25 would be auto-swapped to 100Base-FX ports when the optional fiber optic modules are installed.

The Ether-FSH2500F is a highly scalable switch designed for office or system integrator environment.  The based configuration include 25 x 10/100Base-TX ports.  In addition, the switch comes with two 100Base-FX modular bays which can accommodate up to two 100Base-FX modules(single or multi-mode) using either SC, ST or MT-RJ connectors.  100Base-FX fiber optic connection allows link distance of up to 20km using single mode fiber and is virtually immune from electro-magnetic interferences.

With a simple push of a button on the front panel, the unique Per-Port VLAN mode will divide each port into its own VLAN groups sharing Port 25.  This allow each port to be completely independant while enable all ports to share the device on Port 25 ( a server, internet connection, or connection to another switch).  This feature is essential for community network where every household need to share network resource but want to block access from each other.

User can still choose to configure VLAN and Priority through the console port.  This allows user to configure up to 8 VLANs groups with up to 25 ports per VLAN.  The switch is also equipped with a high performance switching engine for non-blocking wirespeed performance.  Each port is equipped with auto MDI/MDI-X function that eliminate the need of using cross-over cables.
