The AM-100U is an USB ADSL Modem device set which provides an “Always-On” high speed broadband connection to the Internet.  It connects your PC to the ADSL line and allow you to surf internet at high broadband speed.  AM-100U is fully compliant with ANSI T1.413 Issue 2, ITU G.992.1 and ITU G.992.2 standards. With data transfer rates up to 8 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream, AM-100U is the ideal solution for high-bandwidth applications such as access to a corporate network, Internet access and video delivery.

Auto Installation

Traditionally, setting up the ADSL modem require knowledge on handshake protocol, VPI, VCI, and encapsulation.  Those numbers are often difficult to obtain from ISP.  The AM100U comes with an auto installation utility simple ask you about the country and ISP name, then your modem's settings are all correctly configured.  The modem can support Annex A, B, and UR-2 protocols (different models) to ensure global compatibility with ISPs.
