How to dial?
If you choose "Yes" for "Free SIP Account", there will be an IP phone number comes with the IP phone device you order from us.
(There will be two phone numbers for model number ATA-386, ATA-486, ATA-496 and ATA-488)
- To call a remote IP phone, dial the remote IP phone's phone number, for example 8311234, then press "send" key on the
keypad.
- To send fax to a fax machines connected to a remote IP Phone adapter, dial the remote adapter's phonen number then press "send"
- To call a regular phone number and cell phone number in U.S. and Canada, from the IP Phone dial 1-AreaCode
-xxx-xxxx then press "send" key. (optional prepaid service)
- To call a regular phone number include cell phone number in countries other then U.S. and Canada, dial
011-CountryCode-CityCode-PhoneNumber then press "send" key. (optional prepaid service)
- To send fax from a fax machine connected to an IP phone adapter to regular fax, dial the fax number as above ways. (optional prepaid service)
- To dial out through the phone line connected with the remote ATA-488's "line" port, dial the phone number at the FXO port on the remote
ATA-488, then press "send" key
